How would we go about donating to the server?

And are there any rewards for donations? (Alliegence points/Zeny)

if I remember well I think it was like 1 alliegence point per dollar

Here's the info:

"Donations from our players are more than welcome and help us greatly in purchasing new materials for the server, to reward our generous donator, for each dollar received you will get an OBB (Old Blue Box) and 1 Allegiance point (Light or Dark).

Donations of over $20.00 will also (in addition to what's mentionned above) get a DVD of the server (containing the most recent files) sent to them by mail OR 5 OCA (Old Card Album) and 5 OPB (Old Purple Box).

You can make donations with PayPal (our paypal email is donate@hero-server.net) or send us an email at donate@hero-server.net if you wish to send your donation through snail mail and we will give you the necessary informations."

It's available on the website, we didnt put it on the forum I think, we didn't want to bug anyone with donation request, but they are definatly most welcome ^_^

That's why I dislike giving out good stuff for donations. Can easily get abused and to the point it'd be easier to just drop a few bucks instead of hunting it- which is more what was originally intended in the first place.

100$ would give you :

- 100 OBB
- 100 Point

And your choice between :

- 5 OPB + 5 OCA
- 1 DVD of all heRO up-to-date files.

As for "paying" instead of "hunting"... What?! Let's say someone wants a slotted shield that bad, maybe he should just go hunt it instead of trying to buy hundreds of OBB/OPB before getting it... Anyway, donating is a good thing for everyone on the server. So... yeah.

Yeah since we're not giving specific items, it's not like donating will get you exactly what you want.

But of course out of 100 obb you're bound to get something "worthy". I doubt anyone would donate for a "maybe" item however, I think people who do it do it because they care about the server, and the prize we give it to show our appreciation for that.
