Battle log troubles

If someone already made a thread about this, I apologize.

Anyway, I'd like to know if it is at all possible to have the battle log as strictly battle things (exp, drops, etc.) and then the regular log for just chatting (Main, PM's, etc.). As far as I know, you can get most of this with the battle log options, but you still can't turn main off just for the battle log.

To turn main off in battle log you have to turn off Public Chat Display. This will also turn off...well public chat

Not sure if that actually works. I seem to recall doing that and still having main be on o_o;

But maybe I'm just crazy

I do it to block out the inane chatter on Main, but still have it enabled in case of useful information like deals. Works fine for me, maybe you should try it again.

Battle log is a great tool, but it comes "as is", we don't have any intention to modify it, hope you can find suitable options for your needs, there's always @main off if you don't want to see it.
