I need some tip for a quest.

To begin,I'm kind of new to this things so I didn't really know where I shall write this.So there goes.I'm doing the Novice Wing Quest and I have to mix items in a magic hole to create new one.My question is : can someone provide me tips or tricks but not the whole spoilers about wich items to 'mix' and how many.I dont know if it's a formula or something.I worked on it for a few hours and my brain is about to melt thanks a lot
