How come Aura Blade doesn't have a buff icon?

Of all the buffs that do have one, why doesn't Aura Blade?

alot of the buffs you can see on your character pretty much all the time, but Aura Blade is only when your weapon is out.

and to top it off, it's hard to see with Assumptio (the main reason I hate that friggin buff)

I understand Agi Up and Blessing having the buff icon, because you can't see them on your character. But there are some like 2hq and Assumptio and all sorts of things that you can see on you, why is Aura Blade one of the few without? And even worse: when you're Provoked it has an icon. That's stupid.

Is it possible to script it in? That would be a huge help.

It's the same way with mystic amplification on Hi-wizzies.

As for that, I think we'd need to pick a buff sprite, and recode the skill(s) so they do show a buff icon. Aura blade has always confused me, I've never been able to tell when it's duration has run out except by watching my damage or sitting there and doing nothing but watching the clock.

I don't mean to be a party pooper, but I don't see it being a big deal.??As a party support priest one has no idea when a load of buffs fade away so they just keep time and re-buff accordingly.??I tend to not buff myself past Bless when I've a party to support.??Saves SP.

I dunno how long aura blade lasts - I've never even heard of it - but I think you should just think to yourself that it's been that long, it's time to rebuff.

Plus, you could just see that the buff has lost it's effect then recast.

I'm not saying don't incorporate this.??Of course it's a good idea.??Please, don't misunderstand me.??I just don't think it's something to get worked up about.??

Find a way to code Aura Blade crapping out into Battle Log for Us and we'll be happy campers - those that actually use Battle Log for Battling

( I use battle log for chatting w/o interruptions.)

I never even thought of asking for it in the battle log, which is wierd because I use it all the time.

I have a similar problem too when I'm playing as an LK, I can never tell when my LK buffs are active since there's barely any indication of them being active.

The battle log is that other tab in your chat log, if you click the + sign you can customize what you want to appear and not appear on the battle log, you can't turn off shown exp, you have to use @showexp for that

Ahh. I was always confused about it since it didn't differ from my normal chat at all. I figured it was used to filter specific chats. xD
