Report: use of offensive language after repeatedly asked not to

Naruhodo, If Jericho offended you so badly, why not come to me and Saii? I have yet to hear of this matter till I saw this post. The GM's are busy working on the new SVN and encourage players to work out problematic situations and then, as a last resort, make a support ticket. I'm more than open to discuss this matter further if you like but not in forums.

Granted, it is a word, a stupid word, but if asked to stop, don't you think it'd be polite to comply?

I know there's some context over in??the UK where it means something else, but??in general,??all I really know that a??"Fag" is , is a Degrading term for a Homosexual person.??Wether you mean it or not, it IS offensive to some people, and you??should respect that regardless.

I think if anyone should grow up it's the people using the damn word.

Just to clarify, I was talking to him and Saii and everyone else nearby when I said I would report people if they said it again, and then he said it that way in my screenshot in response to what I said... I dont think he realized I was being serious, but I was heh

Anyway, Jericho and I talked respectfully to each other and worked it out, no hard feelings



Also, to clarify about saying the word, you can say it all you want in non-public chats like your guild chat if no one in those chats object, but you can't say it in public chats like Main; that's part of the heRO rules.

The word fag is as offensive to me as the word "nigger" is to any african american person who has experienced racism, and there's no reason to bring that into heRO.

The word "fag" and even using "gay" in a negative way is always related to the persecution, marginalization, murders, and prejudice against homosexuals, bisexuals, and their friends and family, even if you didn't intend it that way.

So just use another word please

For future reference, it's best if you are reporting anything or anyone with support tickets. Things can get out of hand when uninvolved people feels like coming in for drama and put in their 2 cents' worth that eventually accumulate to a much bigger problem.

Since problems is solved as naruhodo talked ingame with the said people about it, going to lock this one up before things ignite again by random passerby's comments. If the issue actually isn't resolved, the involved people can start a support ticket about it instead.
