Blizzard lost most of their old team by their crazy obsessiveness to WoW.
I have little hopes for D3 and SC2

There is no release date yet.
But if you saw the demo gameplay, you can see that the game's development progress is pretty good - the gameplay, monsters, loot, skills and graphics all look pretty good as if the game will be ready in a few months.
