I had the same problem. I used my sakray.exe to patch and when the updater was in the 2006-01-10xxxxxx patch, it would crash. Then, I would have to start over and it would still crash. What I did to solve? Sad but true, I flushed my RO folder altogether, installed the sakray 1025 from scratch, used the OLD patcher provided by GM-Feith (since the sakray.exe would STILL crash when he got around the january update), installed the Ragsetup DLL, installed the heRO patch...and voila.

SAD, real sad, but true, people who are having problems updating right now might have to redownload a newer saksetup_xxxx.exe.

Im no experts on computers either /swt
but I think the higher the number the more updated it is,
so...if you downloaded the sakray 1025 then if you had to download rag to, it should prolly be the 1025 version thing as well
...just my advice

You should download sak_setup0117.exe...

0117 means January 17, 2006.
1025 means October 25, 2005.

If you don't care about music, DON'T download rag_setupXXXX.exe since you don't need it.

Just follow the steps in GM-Boomy's post for installation with Sakray only.
