It works. I've done it multiple times. However, you kill one of the random monsters, and you can't change.

It seems that with the new patch came some problems with the old way to change from taekwon to Star Gladiator.

I did it, so here's the walkthrough.


Star Gladiator Job change :

You need to go talk to NPC on top of Comodo Mountain (he's named "Man'). The mountain is found in the middle of Comodo.

He will ask you to get 1 Flame heart, 1 Mystic frozen, 1 Rough wind & 1 Great nature in exchange of a warp to the 3 Star gladiator trainers.

Once you give him the items, you can warp as many times as necessary.

First trainer is the Sun trainer, you only have to listen to what he says.

Second one, is the Moon trainer, you only have to listen to what she says.

Third one is the Star trainer, she'll ask for 1 Star crumb & 1 Star dust. She'll warp you back in order to get the items.

Come back with the items to Comodo, go up the mountain and talk again to Man, he will warp you to the trainers.

Just click once on the Sun trainer and the Moon trainer and you'll be warped to the Star trainer again.

She'll begin your trainer since now you have what she wants.

Then she'll transform you into a Star Gladiator! YAY~

That's all.

I didn't do the Soul linker quest, so I wouldn't know if it changed, but the Taekwon trainer is no more where it was. I dunno where he went. Maybe it was his syndical break or something...

But I guess the Soul linker'S quest would look like this one...

Just look around Payon and talk to NPCs.

It was actually a NPC near the Kafra in Payon city that told me about his guy in comodo that could warp me to the trainers.

So anyways... Hope this'll be useful!

but...but....ripping out pages! That's just plain mean, even if he is syphoning energy out of it. That could have been a really good read, but now we'll never know because mr. "I'm-so-tough star gladiator" felt like ripping out the pages.
