Hommon bug, no exp

My hommonculus killed over 100 hydras, a couple munaks, bonguns, skeletons soldiers and archers, but he gained exactly 0 exp...
Anyone know what is happening?
Help would be very appreciated.

Looks sorta like his bar was moving a bit he just wasnt looking at the % itself

Don't think the total exp even goes up till you level then it just adds it all ;3.
