Improve Styla's Cloth Color Selection

Hello everyone.

Ever since I started playing, there was one little thing that annoyed me and might have annoyed other players, and that is the lack of cloth palletes on Styla.

As of now, we have about 130 colors to choose, most of them repeats of the same color, and some other unsightly colors.

I've seen similar scripts with up to 800 pallete choices, that might sound overkill, but I think it would do good to boost our character customization even more. If we have that many new hairstyles, why not have more cloth colors?

I'd like to hear the GM's opinion on this, as I don't know the implications and needed resources, and for players knowledgeable on eAthena to contribute.

It's more like if you see that 130-ish palettes have little effect on some of the characters (the effect of the palette really depends on class sometimes. Mage, Acolyte, High Priest and the peco on swordie classes are prime example how only very rare palettes affect them), then is adding random palettes going to do much of an improvement for these classes? Currently most of the recent addition to palette are only higher quality products that does change the palette on most if not all classes, including the wedding dress sprite (which is a nightmare for all palette designer to get a palette that doesn't screw up the dress.) So it's not that we aren't aware of there being so many colours, just that Panda didn't pass them and gave most of those other palettes a "fail grade" so they didn't make their ways to the server.

However, I really don't know what panda has in stock for palettes... her data file of potential customs deserve its own hard drive

Is there some way we could have a preview of the various pallete stocks that Pandora has stored?

Some classes seem to be unable to use the current pallete to it's full potential, as you said. Swordie classes peco, bards (non trans), and energy coated mage classes (afaik, it resets to 00 while not moving), are some of those instances.

Most palletes might be high quality for some classes, but it's pretty unsightly for others.

I'm always for more customisation, but 800 sounds like too much.
I lack good Green and Orange clothes for some of my characters ...

I know, buut I remembered how hard it was to navigate through 300+ palettes on my previous server, especially with a "You click and it changes" system, unlike HeRO's selection menu.

I think that having more colors sounds nice. Maybe not as much as 800 but around 300 or 400 in total? The selection menu is very convenient so navigation shouldn't be that hard when all the colors don't have to be in one big lump.
