Without gms you cannot see if someone is using panaceas or other items with no animation.

Someone running the tournament should be in the parties of the player fighting to see if their HP goes up higher then it should after using pots or using a non-animation item.

Edit: Making the tournament is going to take a lot of work/debating on what is right and whats not. I suggest you a few other helping hands. Especially for the tournament itself. If someone tries to go against rules and attacking a player he/she shouldnt because they lost. Or just to have 2 people in each players party to monitor theyre HP.
