Privacy to Creation and Rebirth!

It seems a lot of people are just whining about it being annoying, not the privacy issue. It's just one or two lines of text, not that big a deal. It really shouldn't make you go FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU like some people are implying

The less stuff that can be spammed in your face the better. Would you guys really like it if we had an announcement every hour reminding you to vote and review RMS?...Probably not, so why do we do it with character birthing and transing?
People have been hurt by names created on the birth channel before because they were purposely harassing someone. It is not like @main where we can turn it off, and I'm sorry but people don't always take screens and report(tattle) every little wrong doing done to them.

I kinda see your point, 'Nocky (is that a bad nickname btw? xD), but no one's going to make a char with a troll name and get them all the way to 99 and trans just to piss off someone else, so then it's just birth messages, and not rebirth ones, that are the issue ;3

I woulda loved for everyone to know when I transed my monk into a champ; it was a pretty big achievement to me at the time. (I did it before they added the rebirth announcements.)

I think a lot of people enjoy getting some recognition and grats for their time spent leveling. It's one of those "good server community" things

It's actually funny watching people when someone is reborn, all the people suddenly spamming the insincere congratulations even though they don't even know and never met the person being reborn, just saying that because they're kinda expected to do so. It's just like when someone dies, and people are all "I'm sorry blah blah" even though they don't actually feel anything.

It's better not to say anything at all.
