the control panel

for some reason, whenever i go to the control panel to register for this, it doesn't load and just gives me an error. This is what it says

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'pandora.bounceme.net' (4) in /home/heroserver/domains/hero-server.net/public_html/cp/adodb/drivers/adodb-mysql.inc.php on line 346

Query (SELECT * FROM cp.status) failed: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'pandora.bounceme.net' (4)

Anyone got any idea why its like this?

the servers internet provider is down hence the server and cp is down as well.

You did good that you search before asking.
But this thread is 2 years old.
Though the CP this time is down from some hacking attemp.

Anyway try adding _m for male account or _f for female account after your actual account. That should lets your account be created.
Next time you dont need to add _m or _f again though.
