If you're dumb enough to use that armor, being Unfrozen is actually a BENEFIT because it will make you water for the next SG.

At the very worse, only 1 SG can possibly hit you at a time since they don't stack. You can still pot it. You sponge up MS, and isn't weak to the much anticipated wind endow smiths and sinx behind the precast. It's a risky move that trades taking extra damage from the 1 SG, but if you predict accurately that the melee defense are all wind endow, then you do much, much better against all the melees behind the spell precast.

i guess, seems like an odd thing to do since you'll get hit more times by SG and for more dmg lol

Not necessarily, if you're running into a precast of 1 amped SG and 3-4 amped MS, the MS can add up to being more damage, especially with the proliferation of Salamander cards, which increase MS damage by 40%.??Remember, only one SG can hit you at a time, while many, many meteors can.??If one wanted to, they could hypothetically boost their fire resistance to such a point to ignore the fire damage completely, cutting down on the animation stun.

Edit: Yea, not saying that's always the best idea, but its a possibility.

Personally, if I was going to take any element armor into PVP, it'd be wind because honestly, who uses Earth for serious combat? The earth spells are sub-par, aside from the pseudo detect that Heavens drive does, but that's usually level 1 for fast cast and spamability, and quite weak as far as damage goes.. and everyone else generally sticks to fire (for stone cursed people and ED users) or wind (for frozen), or very rarely, maybe Holy and poison. Neutral is the most common without those with endows/elemental gears.


Maybe he just likes fire armor and hates Frost joker with a passion. (My god, I love freezing ice titans with FJ. It's like a double redundant thing.)
