Cooking formula

Well I was wondering about the hard formula for cooking of this server, on the internet I have found several sources, one saying that the formula might be different for other servers, and one being an estimated formula, Does anyone here know the exact formula for cooking on heRO?

RE: Cooking formula

I have no idea of it, though I used Doddler's one and found it pretty accurate when compared to eAthena.

RE: Cooking formula

Ok thanks, so does anyone else have any experience on this?
Also I find it pretty awkward as our server runs on eAthena. the one from RMS sais: This cooking calculator is based on eAthena's (revision 14058)

RE: Cooking formula

I believe the RMS calc is more correct when it comes to how many previous attempts are factored in. But, again, I haven't actually tested it.

RE: Cooking formula

hard data? i did this, a couple of years ago. doddler's calculator/estimator was accurate. HOWEVER, there was a svn update that wiped out all the cooking i had done. even had to redo the cooking quest >.> after that time, i did not take hard data again. not sure if any svn updates changed how cooking worked here.

RE: Cooking formula

Stats is NO LONGER related to cooking food using cooking sets.

Legendary Cooking Set is 100% Success auto-success.

For everything else, a simple formula:

[Cooking Set level]*12% + 70% - [Cooking Dish Level]*7% = Final success rate.

Eg:

Using Professional Cooking Kit to cook lv 8 food:

3*12 + 70 - 8*7 = 50% success

Cooking Set Level:
Outdoor Cooking Kit = 1
Home Cooking Set = 2
Professional Cooking Kit = 3
Royal Cooking Kit = 4
