Suggestion: Expand Fishing

The fishing system in heRO is fun, but it is pretty limited as it is now.
I'd really like to see this expanded in future updates!

Some suggestions:
-A lot more fishing spots! (can have different level/fishing level reqs/different things to fish up)

-More fish / items added to diversify what can be fished ^ ^

-Perhaps a fishing guild (toss some npcs in a vacant building) with related quests / shops. Some quests can be like
...*bring back a rare fish (quest item) get to choose from x rewards
...*fish at every fishing spot and get a reward
...*trade fish caught back for guild points, which can be used for items/bait

You should turn this into a poll and see what the rest of the server thinks.

It seems like it could possibly have some positive potential, but I'd personally say its going "To go on the list of things to do", with the gms.

Iirc, they are still working on quite a bit at the moment.

Buuuut...if it was something fun, and not like...necessary to begin fishing/continue fishing or whatever, I'd be for it.

Or to say it the blunt way, the GMs will never do it using the fact that they have a lot to do at the moment as an excuse until you give up trying to pass it through.

We're actually talking about expanding/entirely changing fishing in T&D.
GM's just need to tell the guy who suggested it that he's got the okay from us.

I want it to be a more active system or more limited somehow personally.
Quests involving the fish somehow could work, might not, depends how they are done.

I'm sorry?
As I don't see your name on the members list in the Test and Dev section, I'm going to flat out say that you do not have the slightest clue as to what the GMs are working towards, or what is already going through testing, as a bunch of players who ARE in the T&D can verify.

The multiple projects undergoing visible testing do not include those that we, as GMs, have in progress. T&D only sees what we have a testable copy of.


Do not claim that we use "We have a lot to do" as an excuse, as it is not an excuse. It is a legitimate reason.


Of course, we could always make more room. But that would involve dropping all our current projects and work, and I doubt anyone else here would like that idea. I don't desire being strung up via my feet by the PvPers.

As Aaronock said, we currently have a topic in T&D with a few players discussing Fishing. Your best bet would be to PM Aki, and ask if you can be added to the section, and throw your suggestions in with that bunch.

Though, I (as a player, not as a representive of the GM team, per say) like the idea of quests that sink fish.

The more fishing spots was the main thing that I originally wanted to post, but then I got ideas and ended up typing all that stuff. XD

what about diffrent poles like deep sea fishing pole, skye pole *can be used off the air ship*. and things like that
new hats would be cool also.
