the image, was 120x68 pixels in size and 4.8 kb

the fact that we get such a minuscule amount of space is pretty pathetic, but after done resizing to fit such a microscopic window, the upload menu errors.

I managed to upload using a URL but some bitchsdontknowboutmy imageshack or photobucket so will get errored

The upload option never worked, you've always had to do it via URL.

Its a permissions problem on the web server, whoever has access to the server has to change it so the http daemon can write to that dir (that probably means making it writable for everyone). Then avatar uploading would work. So its nothing you did.

Just upload to tinypic or something and use the url option, easier that way.
