RE: Hydra Cards Reduction

Basically the rule is easy, same script stacks additive, different stacks multiplicative.
Namine Wrote:Reasonable generalization: stack for defenses, vary for offenses.

The difference between 2 hydra and skel worker or 3 hydras depends on your atk.

Roughly, 60 % vs 61 % and 7 atk.

Skel Worker doesn't work versus peco riders, indeed. And not versus babies.

RE: Hydra Cards Reduction

General rule for those who are not too keen on the map is this:

"More variation for different types of % bonuse, the better it is for attacking."

For example, you want to maximize damage on Sleeper, a medium, earth element, formless monster.

You'll do better with 1 skel worker (anti-medium), 1 kaho (anti-earth) and 1 peco peco egg (anti-formless) compare to 3 kaho/3 skel worker/3 peco egg.

However, you have to realize that although this stacks more damage, it is now homed in to very specific targets. Sticking with 3 peco eggs in your weapon for example, you retain generality that the weapon is good against any formless monster. You trade power for generality.

*Note: yes I know skel worker may vary depending on the base atk and str of the user due to its plus atk and only 15% compare to others 20%, but for sake of generality, it is *usually* true and an easy rule to follow with only few exceptional cases.

null unless if they're baby knights/crus. normal Peco riders are classified as large so only the atk+5 will work, 15% wont for the sw
