Another fun place to try lower lvl parties is odin's. That's actually best done with hunters/snipers as primary killers. Just lay down traps and have everyone go nuts. First time I ran into that sort of party was on a pserv. It was quite a popular place. Actually the easiest type of party to run so long as nobody gets too close to your line of fire or strays from the group.

I remember taking my old guild there around mid 80's, freaking great experience, and okay drops too with the darkness runes and bloody blades we got (sadly no earring[1]'s). I've also done other mid 80's-90's parties there with Irx and T and others, fun times, I love partying Odin's 3.

Oh that makes me think of another time Kohaku (fattie got himself banned like two weeks after this), Krumb, Nami, and I all went out there and found like 10 blessings, and I got half of them! Too bad all of those broke and not a single +7 to show for it. :<

I miss the old methods for killing Valk Randgris before she had EQ now...<_>

A very odd party is a Star Gladiator, perma-Aco, magic/bow Stalker hybrid with SG copied, and auto-casting sage imo.

And now I want to try it.

I miss parties.

RE: Very odd but awesome party

Till the moment the most odd and effective party i was in was at ID3. It was a Dancer, Priest, and my Soul Linker. We did pretty damn awesome with this set up.

Dancer = puller by using "please don't forget me"
Priest = buffer, pneuma and healer
Soul Linker = EsmaEsmaEsmaEsmaEsmaEsmaEsma

While in ID3 we found a Crusader and a lovely little Bard that didn't mind to bragi outside of the party <3 After that the set up changed to:

Dancer = SP battery
Priest = buffer, pneuma, lex and healer
Crusader = provoke, tank, puller and second hand healer
Bard = Bragi <3
Soul Linker = EsmaEsmaEsmaEsmaEsmaEsmaEsma

Each of the party member got around 2 and half levels, the party moved fast and did pretty well even when it was just the 3 of us at the beginning.

Mara: 9x/50 Soul Linker
Mami: +89/50 Priest <3
Lind: 9x/6x Champion
Urtool: 9x/5x Creator - Paz: 99 Lif
Noob Behind A Bow: hurr/durr DERP DERP

RE: Very odd but awesome party

Just did a party in ID 3.
It was fun. We had 2 priests/ 1 crus (I believeIcon_razz)/ SinX/Wizzie (me)/HW

We managed without a bragi.

Henvar 2.0-Thief
Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.

RE: Very odd but awesome party

You can manage a lot of things without a bragi... but everyone loves to have one anyways.
