Permanent Santa Suits

Would it be possible to have a Santa Suit item that functions like a Tuxedo (equippable) but gives the Santa Suit sprite, at least for the season? Or maybe have Santa Suits buyable from an NPC for the season. Kind of a bummer not being able to look this awesome all the time, especially for the holidays.

Think it'd be amusing to have an NPC sell them :o...but then again if the xmas quest uses them :/

xmas quest would still use the usable ones while this would be a gear?

He just said could also make an NPC that would sell them. That would probably be the best bet, as for making a new gear takes item scripts and other crap to go through. Coding an NPC that sells one item is jokingly easy.

Cosmetic heRO stuff is always fun.

I personally think the tuxedo-like santa suit (and maybe someday summer event suit, etc) would be the most useful since cosmetic stuff is all about the moment and the novelty, so it'd be nice to be able to put it on for however long you want; 20 seconds or two hours, and be able to take it off when you want.

Also, when it's a re-usable tuxedo-like equippable item, you can make it really rare and make it hard to hunt/quest for. To me that's a lot more exciting than just buying it over and over again from some NPC!

But if selling the regular santa suits at an NPC is the most feasible idea in terms of coding, then I guess that's still something

No attacking or casting skills. Just the same as a Tuxedo. There would be too many sprite errors if attacks were enabled. That, or you would look like you're standing still while attacking, lol.
