You might be able to google search for your driver to if you don't have the cd/dvds any more.

if your puter was store bought there should be a recovery partition labeled as such with your driver. another method if your pc is store bought is to goto the manufacturer's website (Dell..HP..etc) and look up your model number under the support section and get your puter specific drivers there. if your pc is custom built you will have to know the make and model of your motherboard if your graphics are onboard. if not youll need to know the name and make of your graphics card. hope i wasnt too technical.

if your running windows 7 theres a chance especially if its nvidia that windows update will have the driver. if not windows might have a compatible generic driver for it.

if it's custom built and he randomly removed a driver that he didnt know was a driver, then it's not custom built. Just saying.
