Login Problem

So now I'm freaking pissed. First i need to dl ragray and now I found this out: I can login to hero-server but just before the character selection page this shows up:

Any idea how to fix this problem?

Have you patched via the heRO patcher since you downloaded Ragray?


Did you install ragray + mini installer into a completely new, empty folder?

baring there be a resource error (we're all to lazy to type in what it says but they are fairly important). Your best bet is to try reinstalling, get Ragray fully updated (it doesn't actually have to be everything you can actually see on HeRO is post the most resent Ragray release and is patched in regardless). THEN install HeRO on top of it, and patch. You could also try using one of HeRO's other installers if that fails.

You may also want to make sure Ragray still has Sakray in its latest installer (i.e. sdata) it shouldn't matter and you probably do, but as a last resort you should check to make sure it's there.

Another option is on windows Vista/7 due to permission stuff in the program files some programs don't run very smoothly, Sakray client seem to be one of them, the work around is to just install it on your desktop.

Most of these are just general suggestions because I am not to clear what is causing the error, and I'm fairly unfamiliar with Xray and Sakray and all that stuff.

Can you create another account and see if that works? it may be local to something to do with your characters.

Also check to make sure your data.ini has all the grfs in it. it shouldn't make a difference but sometimes it causes errors. (however if you aren't getting any resource error I doubt the grfs are the issue.

Its also probably faster to just try using the full installer at this point and installing it to your desktop, then running as admin.
