Congrats to the winners. I guess my "banners put together in 2 hours" at least looked cool enough to place. And I did go to some trouble with them. =(

The only way I can see to avoid the "judge works as a group" vs. "judge works individually" problem is to limit people to one entry each. Not sure how people would respond to that, though... I'm sure some people are going to take issue with it no matter what's done. :/

And if you ask me, all the winners deserved it.
I know I'm at least one GM who has dabbled in banner/graphical work before, and knows how long it can take to get things just the way you want them.

Yeah, I was kind of bummed about the dark-side version of my banners because the file compression made them all grainy and I couldn't seem to fix it, despite tweaking the original as much as I knew how. The light-side banner definitely came out better IMO (which is a shame, since I'm dark-side, haha ;P).

The part that kills me, too, is that out of everything, what I spent the most time on was the inverted-ish colored version of the heRO logo for the dark-side banner. It took forever to make the edges look halfway clean like the normal version. XD;
