compared to official BG, this is just team pvp, which a lot of people don't like.

who the hell would ever want to BG here just to get gears that... only work in BG? (i would not. ever. everrrr)

just nerf them, geez XD don't put any huge drawbacks, just nerf the resist to something in the lower single digits, a % more defense, or a lower single-digit small wind/water/fire/earth resist to mess with sinxes/WS or neutral to mess with champs/creas

I think this has been said a million times but theres a version of battlegrounds on the officials that is similar to this

Hey, why should we be the only ones without throats?

I bring you all current WIP estimates of everything but the weapons for now, which are still in the throat-ripping works.

Feel free to leave feedback and opinions on both these, and suggestions for weapons prices if you wish.


A few things to bare in mind:

• Black Belt has been changed to 5% resist each (total of 10%, obviously). This means a total of 78% resist obtainable.
• Items are valued by usefulness, and by usability. Glorious Rings, etc are nice by themself, better then combo'd and only one can be needed per account, as they are all job. So, they're worth a bit.
  Things like the Mass-Produced ring are less, as there are better options out there.
  Items like Combat Boots are cheaper, as they don't do much by themself, with the higher cost on the more useful item that completes the set.
• BGs have been in for just under 4 months. In this time, the top amount of points obtained on a character is ~2200, continuing down the top ten holders to end at ~800.

So, leave opinions, and any ideas.

So you're saying that (for most useful items) you think it should take 4 months for the 10th most active person to earn one thing? If someone can only make it to one BG/day and they win EVERY match they're in... that's over 6 months of BGing once per day, every day (assuming you never, you know, have other stuff to do that day) to get one Glorious Ring?

I know you want to keep things under control, but these items are account bound, right? I don't see any reason to force casual players to wait 6+ months to get decent items just because they can't afford to drop everything to get to BG multiple times per day.

Be aware that it counts for both increase in actually occurring BGs, other forms of BGs most possibly being run at other times (Possible BG Keys >Here!<), among a few other factors.

It's as much an overall plan than anything, unless everyone wants to go through all this again once other things get added, and the same delay with the deciding.


I can't state everything or full plans at this time, so bare with us, though it does put a damper on leaving full feedback, I'm aware.

I take it the weapons are going to be around the 1xxx range which could take a year for some players to get. If it was unscheduled BG I would understand but aside from 10 players who are usually the only people who go to BG, I'm sure that no ones even close to those numbers.

considering that in order to get the best from a bg weapon, 9refines would be needed. and im pretty sure each weapons have higher points requirement. well tbh, it looks really hard to get, well it's a low rate server, we don't get things here just cause we want them

5% is still too much on the black belts, just remove that crap, it's imbalanced. 68% demi-human resist is already going to be hardcore tanky, these accessories are just too much.
