Make a clear rule(s) about spamming music or dance please

Annoy maybe, but I don't see how it stops them from playing properly. Maybe it would stop them from using RO as a giant chat, but w/e.

If they like sfx they can turn it back on outside the down after the spamming has ended, its not like their fingers are gonna rot and fall off for using commands twice.

And still, i really don't see a problem there. If you like that sfx that much - change bragi's music to a 1s quiet sound in data folder - problem solved - no annoyance from music spam and you can keep sfx on, no?

if its already spammed, turning off your sound wont work.. u still have to wait till the song over (not to mention if they spam it alot, so u have to wait untill all of em stops)

@bisu: it's troublesome and it permanently affect your game data (or at least till u revert it)...

I'm with Shinigami on this one.??Casting a song in town is no problem whatsoever.??Whether for shits-n-giggles or to actually help someone.??We all know and mostly enjoy the bard/dancer songs.??But, when someone in town spams song/drop, it's annoying.??We all know this, too, and we all complain when we happen to have sound on and someone spams song/drop.

As Shinigami wrote, turning off your sound won't make the currently-spammed songs stop.??Sure, you could mute your speakers; but what if you're listening to music, using team speak or have a VoIP open???Why should we be provided the obligation to mute anything in the first place???The rules state to respect other players and bee-buzzing their speakers with bragi/drop spam is not respectful.

You guys are just all being horribly haughty about this and not even allowing Shinigami his rebuttals.??=[

I know I jumped his ass for his comments on the Japanese earthquake disaster, but he still deserves to be respected and his troubles heard and addressed.??Everyone deserves these rights.??=\

I don't think he's (and I most certainly am not) asking for a recoding of anything.??Just a clear rule against spamming songs/dances in towns.??If someone does, you can then effectively report them for breaking a rule.??No one gets banned, just perhaps a warning followed by more severe chastisements if they do it again and again.??No banning skills from towns or added skill delay.??Just a rule more clearly defining what it means to be respectful of others since some people don't have a definite idea of what this means.??

What's so great about RO's SFX anyway? People don't overlap songs just to be rude, they flash a song and wait 15 seconds or so then play it again, that way they recover sp while keeping it up. People spam idun to recover hp quickly.
That's how the game is played, stop making an ass of yourself and get over it.

@ange: there's some people who overlap song just to be rude or annoy their surroundings. if u never found any of this, u're just lucky

@skystorm: bot is not often to be found, but there;s still a rule for it.. for afk mist as well, spammer as well... as well as the other prohibited stuff
