having a problem with the patcher

hello, im a sophisticated windows vista user and apparently when i try to get onto heRo via patcher, it seems to close out as soon as it opens

my spider senses tells me that there is something wrong...

i reinstalled it twice and it still wont open...what should i do?

The patcher itself closes or the hero window after clicking on start?

If the second one, you should check in the hero folder for the setup.exe and change the graphic engine there.

After that you could also try setting the compatibility mode for the .exe(Rclick> properties>compatibility) to winXP, if its the client and not the patcher that is. That worked for me on win7 i think.
