An idea...

So... Given that we have a voting system here on heRO where we gets points to put towards neat things that we can get from the GM Assistant, I have an idea that might help people vote more.

We could reward the players in-game, for instance, by making certain aspects of the game available to all players. For example, Instance dungeons could be accessible without doing the quest so long as someone in the party has done the quest before. (Broken or just a bad idea. derp. XP Keeping this up instead of erasing it though.)

Relating to another suggestion, maybe a nobility dungeon could be unlocked at say maybe... 200 votes in the past 24 hours, and will stay up as long as the voting goal is reached. This would be able to be accessed with the same rules as stated in the cited post.

I might be going out on a limb by saying if we can reach a high number of votes, say...3k-5k votes in a week, the players could get even further rewarded with increased rate for one day.

instances are broke on eAthena/heRO (can't remember which, either way they're broke here)

i'm leaning towards MEH on the free dungeon access (even with someone who's done the quest). i don't really like that; never have

the rest sound cool

No on skipping quests, they are implented for a reason (and come on quest give exp to and have nice stories )

Maybe a stupid idea but i think it wouldn't be bad to promote voting in game more, yes i know about the "Welcome to hero blabla, don't forget to vote at the top 100/200 blabla" in the beginning when you log on but honestly i've been playing for this long already i don't even see that message anymore XD

And how many players i've been redirecting in game already to the CP to learn them how to vote because they where asking about the headgear i was wearing from V4P.. but yeah about your suggestion no to the quest thing, rest is decent.

O_O oh yeah, I totally forgot that there was the message! XP jk jk, I try to vote, as well as donate often as my paycheck allows. but instances I would say is busted and the allowing free dungeon access would rip heRO apart. It needs the quests for items, xp, and just even the comraderie involved is paramount to some of us
