Dark blue for the win...

green = guild chat
orange looks to much like gm talk
and purple...ITS PURPLE ewwww

I say purple for conveniance of not being confused by other things in the game. But I still think white is more convenient and better.

yes, white may be the best answer, but faced with the choices, purple is the least glaring to the eyes and yes cannot be confused with anything
