"Server is closed"

I signed in this morning-ish and again a few minutes ago to find that the server is closed. What is going on?

Seems to be some error that came about from the latest reboot, I think? But the GMs are still in the process of figuring out just what that might have been. So far they have ruled out the WoE castle rotations and the new gears introduced at the fairy auction over the weekend. Not sure what else; I logged on shortly after one of the crashes and only caught the tail end of the convo on main.

So this will be a night of Netflix versus getting my Lif's intimacy up. Oh well, I've been meaning to watch some celebrity roasts anyways!

It's not 'closed' technically.

Log-In and Character is working, the Map however is not. That is what is offline and why you are getting the message. We're having some issues with the Map Server crashing and we are working on solving the issue. =\

now all server is down, hope is nothing bad. Good luck at fixing it :D

We are currently doing a computer reboot in order to hopefully help out with the situation of the Map Server crashes. Access will be gone from Log-In and Character Servers for a temporary basis while the reboot occurs. I'll post here again when it is back online.

You probably should take a look at the new scripts you guys added because they're clearly causing a map crash (the map servers main reason to crash is usually a scripting error). The odds of a reboot fixing this are low.

Pandora said we had a crash earlier today before they implemented the scripts and we haven't found errors in the new script to change the WoE castles. She's ruled this out of being the culprit, and she ruled out the gears that were in Fairy Auction as well, the new hat that was introduced.

The reboot we just did is done, however we are still working on fixing the Map Server disconnecting issue, this may or may not of had any effect upon it at all.
