Okay, so now I'm waiting on a verdict for whether that fix I found is allowed or not. I figured it was, since people were talking about it right on main and nobody (mods, GMs, or other players) said it was against the rules, but now I'm not sure.

I can understand official zoom change on Thors and Nameless, even if I don't like it...but I'm having this issue in Veins.

But why do this in Veins, are you guys trying to kick me out of my favorite town? >;(

I can't understand why this change would be made intentional. Thus I can't imagine why it wouldn't eventually be fixed. I also don't think that changing the camera manually in the meantime should be an offense (spirit of the rules vs letter of the rules, I suppose). Also, as is my repeated question when weird rules like this are invoked, how would you enforce this? o.O

Rules state cosmetic changes only.

Additional line of site is more than just a cosmetic change, due to it allowing you to see more mobs, avoid them, easier luring, etc.

I won't get into how dangerous sorting things into "spirit of rules" and "letter of rules" can get, but until a GM says "Sure. Go ahead", then I for one would follow those rules. :X


Since zoom level has nothing to do with official "line of sight" levels, I can think of a bunch of ways to test for this off the top of my head.
