Is it a netbook? A netbook I borrowed when my 'big' laptop had malfunctioning keyboard did this, apparently having 1366x768 resolution on a 12" screen - wtf?

Hm... well, it's my father's, so i'm not sure about everything. xD
It is a laptop i think... (not sure what's the difference between laptop and netbook) It even has better hardware than my computer at home, though as a laptop, it's prone to overheating. Thinking
The regular screen resolution is 1366x768, the maximum for this screen. About the size in inches, i dunno. XD
For some reason the resolution in the RO setup is at 1280x720. Not sure why i didn't take the full resolution, or maybe it reset itself, because Windows 7 loves to mess with the installed programs. I also set the homunculus AI correctly, yet the homunculus never behaves as i set it. (It runs away when the hp is low, although i set it to fight until death!)

edit: I set the resolution to 1366x768 and started the game, then made a screen... it's still messed up. Icon_mad

Make sure to set the hero.exe, heropatcher.exe and setup.exe to run as admin (it's in the properties). I've heard someone mention before that their RO worked better when the RO folder was on the desktop, rather than in program files.

RE: Werewolf Event - June 13th @ 4pm

Yeah, i also noticed that programs in My Documents run a lot better than those in the Program folder. XD
I couldn't even replace any files there with the replace function even as an admin! I had to delete the old files first, then copy the new ones...
But i thought i'd just leave heRo where i installed it...
Well, i'll change folders now, it can't do any harm.

All these files were already running as admin, but as the example above shows, that doesn't have to mean anything. This is one of the reasons i've kept the old Windows XP on my home computer. Sweat

edit:
Looking into the screenshot folder again, i noticed that all of the screenshots which were fine were the ones i had made on my computer. XD
The ones i made on the laptop are ALL messed up and i tried different resolutions and fullscreen and ran everything as admin...
Maybe it just isn't possible on this damn machine.
So i'll just keep the messed up ones and try to decipher them... what a pain in the ***!

Have you tried lowering the resolution of the computer itself to like 1280x720?

Panda actually has a great idea with this and sorry for just re-visiting this thread now, but I too used to get that way back when and DID lower my screen/game resolution and my screens became normalized!

Give it a shot, can't hurt Lol :] Good luck with it Nachi and so glad you came to the event. I feel slightly derpy for not asking people to screen it or possibly taking a group screenshot myself or whatnot. Definitely next time though :]

Nope, i haven't tried that yet. I'll try it soon!

Muhaha, i don't wanna spoil that flight of imagination, but this screenshot was probably taken before anything happened at all. Because everyone, even Ion is still sitting there and he got killed first. Icon_twisted

Anyway, thanks for the screens. xD

RE: Werewolf Event - June 13th @ 4pm

I've tried lowering the screen and game resolution and playing around with the other settings, but nothing changed, so uh. Seems like I'm out of luck.

edit:
After trying it again, it works at 1280x768. Icon_twisted
Before, i hadn't tried this one, but most of the others. Good i gave it another try.
