thx. also just remembered where I read it. So basically you can either get 1 enriched elunium/oridecon + extra ores. Kinda sounds much less exciting compared to previous auctions giving a few enriched and even before that 10 I think. I know the multiple sources of said ores. I dono if I even want to attend anymore.

Here's a puzzler

What if we want to get a nobility gem refined, and then want to get a higher-tier nobility gem later (after wasting tons of gold/zeny?) Will it carry over? If not, will we be eligible to have the refine re-applied if we reference the auction? X.x;

Nobility Gem wouldn't work being refined, unfortunately we wouldn't be able to do the refine on something like that, because of it.

I wonder how this oab compares to a +7 oab, Since the chances of it reaching +7 upgrade is slim.

This is kinda confusing it sounds like you get bonus ATK for the +4 and maybe a bonus for +5/6/7. Adding the enchanted dex will also only give a ATK jump if you have enough DEX for this.

So basically the OAB will not be more useful if you can not get it upgraded to at least +7. Compared to a +7 OAB.

Can a nice GM confirm or correct my analysis for this please.

1) Getting to +7 isn't really slim. Even with using the NPC and normal oridecons, it's ~1/10

2) You're looking at the wrong wiki. That's the renewal one, not the classic one.

3) The classic upgrade system is a flat +7 weapon attack for every refine on level 4 weapons, even past the safe limit.

The auctioned bow can be better depending on your DEX. Because for every multiple of 10 that you reach you get a bonus atk.
+7 oab at 149 dex = 523+49 = 572 Atk
+5 oab at 149 dex + the 1 given by the bow 150 = 553+35 = 588 Atk
Thus, if the bow helps you reach a multiple of 10 of your total dex, it is better.
