Light/Dark Allegience

I'm guessing the answer to this question will be No, but can a player change their allegience? I thought the allegience could be chosen per character and was not a per account thing.

The answer is yes, but it requires a GM service ticket to do it, and you can get a straight switch from whatever points and gears you have directly translated to the other side.

There is also another way.

But this really depends on how many points you have to use this way.
If you have like 10 Light points you can do an allegiance quest and ask for Dark Points since they will have a negative effect on your Light points it will lower them. If you get your points back to 0 then you get more dark points ofc and you will become dark.

But your gears won't change with you during this methode. So if you have allegiance gears you also want to change then you need a GM service.

Really? I didn't think it was possible to have equips from one allegiance on an account that's the other allegiance. I thought your points hit 0 and that's it. Granted I've never tried to lose allegiance points before...

I have no idea how it is when you have allegiance gears on it, since my account i did it on hadn't any allegiance gears

Ah, I will try this. I have 10 Light Points, I think, cause I only did the Doll Quest once after joining. So if I give the girl for the Doll Quest 2 Dolls that are of the Dark Allegience - like Osiris? - and then give her a 3rd Dark one, I should be gaining Dark Allegience points?

Oh and I don't have any Light Allegience items currently.

Since i have no idea how goes if you have devoted yourself to an Allegiance by talking to Sir ... or Lady Thea.

Okay, I tried things out.
I went to Alberta and gave the Doll Girl an Osiris Doll that was inside my Storage and I got 15 Dark Points for that. With someone selling dolls right next to her, I also bought and gave her a Spore Doll and got 10 Dark Points for that.
Went to Prontera, talked to the Allegience Lady and she instantly asked me if I wanted to talk to Sir Melot, from the Dark side.

So it seems this is an easy way to switch Allegience, as long as you don't have any Allegience-specific Gear.
