Those 2 empty dropdownbox are not a good sign...

Do you have any choices for them? At least the 2nd one, you should be able to choose a resolution, like 1024 x 768 x 16

This is odd.. well the first one being empty means you do not have a graphic card. But the second one.. this surprises me.

Try to follow these steps:

When looking at your desktop, click the right buttom of your mouse
A menu will open select "properties"
At the top you'll have tabs, click on setting
Take a screenshot and post it here
