Yeah, its pretty simple. Since the spots for peco are left black on files for other classes, if you take the file for example of a rogue palette and make one for knight and forget to change them you end up with black pecos.

that got me wondering since black pecos are on almost every server i can remember. Was that done on purpose or is that a question i need to ask other people like from EA or something?

I don't think it was done on purpose. Technically it could be corrected, someone would just to go thru each knight/crusader/lk/pally palette and put proper colors.. *dont look at me, I got a lot on my plate right now* Icon_redface

hmm tell me which ones and I suppose I could do it as long as the files are given to me to correct, everytime i un-pack the hero.grf it won't let me re-pack it x_x; so I'll just upload the fixed palettes and pandora can add em back at her leisure.

but also as a side not, as easily as they can be made back into their intended colors they can also be made into other colors as well Icon_cool

Razor, I made my .pal file. Then used the PalConv And i got 1 .pal file do i need to copy that .pal file 16 times for Male and 16 times for female ?

I would assume so. I just need to be sure.

more or less yes, what you're gonna want to do is prefix your .pal file with the prefixes I listed so it picks up correctly for each class.

RE: New Palette Choices - (In-progress)

since hero runs via a .grf you'd have to unpack the .grf then overwrite the old file with that one (you should be able to run hero without the .grf being packed)
