Clearifying topics

Here are some clearifying topics about some not-allowed stuff, so it will be a reminder for our old school people, and our newbies Icon_biggrin.

Begging - No kind of begging is allowed. Don't beg people for items or zeny, just like you they once were new to the server and worked hard for it. Don't beg GMs for buffs, items, events, or anything to benefit yourself so to escape hard work. We're here for the players, but we're not here to help you level or make events when you feel like it. We have you as a priority, so please avoid begging us for stuff. Wouldn't it be weird if you beg for an event and one happens, wouldn't it look like favouritism?

Dual Clienting (DC) - It's when you log on two accounts at the same time. It doesn't matter if you don't log them on the same computer, dual clienting is prohibited. You may play with your sibblings in the same house or with friends in a cyber lan for example, but be aware you may be requested to prove you are not duel-clienting by a GM, failure to comply can result in jail/ban.

Harassing - Regarding reporting every little tiny thing - Ok, we understand that you may disagree some times, that you might get some "You're a noob" when you beat or lose to someone on PvP or duels, but... Use your common sense. You don't need to report all little stuff. If they keep going on and start bugging you even after you ask the other player to stop, then report it. Don't think we don't give credit or importance to you, we just have to help many other people with serious stuff sometimes. If you get insulted in a very racist or sexist way, do report, it's better then answering to that (which can escalate rapidly). Take a screen shot, send it to us, simple as that. You can also come to us with other problems as well, some exemples are posted up here

KS(Kill Steal) - Not cool? How would you feel if you got used as a tanker so that other people get going on their leveling? Without even having to bear the consequences of hitting that monster! KS means that someone hits a monster that belongs to you (either you attacked or it agroed you), and you're not in a party or helping each other. KS is similar to tanking to someone, but without the tankers permission. Think a thousand times before doing it, and just don't. If you get KSed, try talking to the person fist, if he/she doesn't stop, report them. Sometimes a KS can be an accident and will solve itself easily with the 2 people involve simply talking.

RE: Clearifying topics

guardians for woe is more or less forbidden argos >.> they're only useful when they are clumped together, but when they are they get moved apart 8/

soooo as a result, Guardians aren't effective during woe, it's more or less useless to buy them

RE: Clearifying topics

I was talking about buying too many guardians. There is a limit of guardains a guild can buy and if they buy too many they break a rule...

RE: Clearifying topics

really? i was never aware that there was a rule against buying guardians, because there has never been one stated anywhere...
i know there's the "guardian bug" which 'used' to occur (at least it still did the last time i was paying attention to WoE, before yesterday), but people really don't have control over that either way...

so if there 'is' a rule about it, it would be nice if the GMs would mention *nods*

(i have my own personal views on guardians, which are not reflected by the above, but it is an important matter none-the-less... yeah... you don't know fear until you walk into a room where you can't click on the ground because it's covered in guardians... freakin bug)

RE: Clearifying topics

it's an unwritten rule Icon_biggrin
understood by most castle holding guilds, Guardians just aren't worth the investment

RE: Clearifying topics

The bug is that you can buy guardian one day, and buy more the next day even if they are still there.

People are permitted to have 1 set of guardian, buying them on multiple day to get more than 10 is illegal.

RE: Clearifying topics

see consider how much space is inside a guild castle, and then consider only 10 guardians, see why now it's not worth the investment /swt
