Guppies

Not sure if this will work, but, I'm tired of spending alot of cash to get a TON of guppies with 47 fishing points.
If its possible could you reduce the amount of Guppies? And what does other players think of this?

RE: Guppies

I don't find this illogical with the:
- Increase in bait price.
- Adding bad status to superior fish.

But of course, things tend to go from bad to worse, not from bad to good here. So don't hang too many hopes on this thread.

RE: Guppies

Did you really have to bring this up again bloody?

Looks like there's lots of guppy in this sea, maybe I should consider another fishing spot with a different concentration of fish.

RE: Guppies

I'm actually in favor of the additional spot idea, also to spice it up, put it in a harder to find place or put a quest and a story behind it to find the "legendary" fishing spot.

ps i say no to reducing guppies because reselling them after fishing typically pays you back the cost of bait

RE: Guppies

legendary fishing spot, I like that name Icon_smile

It would be in a map with agro monster of course, further from a city, in a dungeon perhaps (no warping).

negative side = further to reach + more dangerous
positive side = better fish, less puny guppy

Also different weird drops.

Ill ponder over it, could be fun.

RE: Guppies

I remember some watery areas in Bio3 Icon_confused Maybe you should put the spot there Icon_evil With better rates on superior fish and OBB/OPB of course >.> You have to clear that whole area if you want to fish freely Icon_lol Not to mention that if you leave the map and come back, all map respawns if no one is there. Of course to make things more fun, no baits seller in that spot. So you ARE forced to make multiple trips.

Then again it could be unfair for people who can't go into Bio3? Or a reward for people who lvl hard.. And an incentive for lower lvls Feedback Icon_suprised ?

RE: Guppies

I think bio3 is a little too much, but I like the no-bait seller suggestion ^_^

RE: Guppies

Uh oh, sounds like a tough spot to reach, heh. I think that the players should have a certain fishing level to use this fishing spot also, being legendary ;].

RE: Guppies

You should make more than just one more fishing spot. More mining spots as well would be nice. I don't think they should have quests or anything that gives them away. They should be hidden around the world for people to stumble across and find. Perhaps as they get harder and harder to fish/mine from (due to monsters) you would need a higher fishing/mining level to fish/mine from the newer and better spots. Perhaps some spots allow you to gain higher levels of fishing/mining than other spots. So you may have to fish until 50 at the original spot and to 60 at a guppy reduced spot, 70 at a trout increased spot, 80 at a salmon increased spot, 99 at a doris or nemo increased spot, 100 at a OBB/OPB/OCA/other junk slightly increased spot. If possible older spots would not continue to increase drops past where they stop giving points. So fishing lvl 100 at the 50 capped spot would give drops as if one was still lvl 50. You would of course have to increase the fishing cap from 50 to 100 and mining would have to increase even more if it was revamped with a similar system.
