Yeah cast time for monster only depends on how vindictive the GMs want it to be You can even make ganban + Comet be instant to the point of no frame changes!

Anyway, even under burning status, i have good amount of hp on champ so pally can soak the damage easily. I think i'll get noticeable damage just only from burning, considered all the redustions i'll pack on.

If there are cast time for the deadly skills,wouldn't a prof spamming spell break also be effective?

If the cast time on those deadly skills is from a boss monster, you only have a 1 in 10 shot of spellbreaker actually working (even if you get it in the right time frame)

Unrelated thought: Who would win in an all out fight, Great Demon Baphomet or the Liberated Dark Lord?

I still think that Comet, while deadly, isn't as bad as classical Hell Judgment just wiping out the entire backline first, especially if we want to go with LP. People have a tendency to jump on it regardless of the reason why it's there... and liberated Dark Lord has much higher physical attack than magic stat.

You're screwed either way. Stay on Lp and die to HJ. Stay in pnuma and stun/die to meteor spam. I'd rather take my chances staying on LP and trying to tank HJ with lots of nuetral/ranged reduc gears and possibly devote.

Not sure if LP blocks Comet as Ive never really bothered with renewal classes.

Except 1254 max matk on meteor storm is at about 5k dmg per meteor hit (and it can be a lot lower due to his huge matk variance), which you have decent chances to live by assumptio alone with no other reductions. Pneuma to block his other shenanigans and sanctuary will get you back on your feet reasonably quickly.

But I guess we'll see for the event

It will be way easier imho, you guys are worring too much. i'll tank everything and the rest of the party should stay at screen edge with the snipers, with the pally mid way to devo me so one behind the pally can heal him and soak the damage. You just need to keep pneuma up, on pally and maybe on who you see getting HJ, all the MS and comets will be on me.

"Roger wasn't there" may have been the answer, but I got reasons to worry about it since it wiped the server the first time. And now, Dark Lord is stronger than before ;o
