I don't understand something here.

There are two seriously weird items in this list this month.

One of the packages has an item that drops Yggdrasil Seeds on killing monsters? What is the rate on that? It seems a bit broken if the rate is even 1% chance. A lot of work was done to slow down growth rate on farming potions, blank cards, giftboxes, etc when the changes were implemented to mobs to stop that mess. AKA: Minions only give drops once instead of over and over again to be abused for farming.

Easter Basket: I don't get it, a few months back, during the October Auction, we sold a +3str Bomporing BP. There seemed to be quite a lot of backlash from players for selling that. Many were very upset about such a thing being made. Not because the Backpack effect itself being an issue, but that attaching +3 str to it makes it overpowered. I know not much stink was made on the forums about this, but not many players seem to check the forums anymore...

Which brings me to my next point, I don't mind the packages for FA being really good, or even unique. But it seems to be growing more common to do crazy things to sell packages. That isn't very necessary. It isn't healthy for the server, and I would think GM's know that some of these packages are only going to be something very few players can afford. Its the same ones that have won these packages for years. Why are you wishing to give vets such a huge upperhand in items?

Again, items or gear can be unique at these auctions, but these players obtaining lucky items like the +3Str Bombporing BP adds up over time. It should be considered when creating packages what kind of impact is being left should any small group of players be the ones to get them all.

That aside, I am not okay with +3 stat in a lower. +2 is pushing it, and +1 is about the norm. I know the Orion guild's "vent" server was in an uproar over that +3 str bombporing backpack.

Right now I fear for what these packages will do to prevent those just joining the server from catching up with those of us who have been around for years.

Wrong, AMJ said the max price was 150m, I pushed it to 350m so Matinee pay, I had 0 intention of buying it. It was quite entertaining.

I see a lot of concerns here and I'll try to address them all. But, before I start, please keep in mind that these ideas are not always or not done by one member of the GM team, so I might not be able to provide all the answers you are looking for right away.

People have complained in the past that the Fairy Auction gears weren't enough, and they have been gradually bumped up, mostly the gears that you see have already been sold once or twice....

Currently I don't know the droprate of the Love Flower Hat, but will see what we can find out about it's %. This is the 2nd time this hat has been sold in a Fairy Auction.

For this auction there is 1 new item to be sold, that has -never- been sold or offered before. Everything else has been offered, but possibly not at the Refine or + Addition..

The refines are mimics of ones previously sold and sometimes they are +1 higher than the previous years, or sometimes they are added to a lower headgear, but this only speaks for some of the packs that are present in this thread.

About the Backpack - Since it is a diceroll it's up to chance if they are going to even get the +3 Stat or if they'll get one of the other mentioned items. Yes, there is a possibility that they will get the +3 stat, and if you see there's also a possibility of them getting nothing more than the backpack


As this is already posted, current items will not be withdrawn from the sale, however I will be sure to speak to the GM team about the sudden concerns with the enhancements and we will take it seriously for all future Fairy Auctions. We apologize if that makes anyone unhappy.

That's alright Rahice, I'm just worried about the potential backlash from having another possible +3 stat lower. It's simply something that makes me uneasy.


I believe the drop rate for the ygg seed hat is 1% before rates. I'd have to look it up on RMS or something to figure out the specifics honestly. ;x
