heRO.exe has stopped working

I know for certain it's not something to do with gears I wear. Because it doesn't matter which account I try to log into

Its weird because I can login just fine, maybe its regional bug ?

I don't think it's a GM changing things. GM changing something without changing client means it's a back end change. If it's back end change that cripples the server, it should affect everyone so no one would be able to login instead of selective people. I see that there are 4 non-merchants online at the moment at least.

Is heRO in its own folder, or does it share any RO resource files with other servers? If this is the case, is there an update for these other servers in this time frame?

Are you able to get on the control panel for any of your account, or is there an error there as well?

It's also possible that something is wrong with our host in terms of its connection to selective region. I couldn't find who our host is in the server specs page, so I couldn't do any googling if our host is suffering from any known issue at the moment...

Specifically, once you are in control panel, can you see info about your characters? If you can do that, then your connection to login server and char server are both fine cause you are able to retrieve information about your characters.

For the error, does anyone have a screenshot of it? On Windows, are you able to fetch Details in the error pop up? What does it say there, if anything?

EDIT: was informed apparently no particular error message beyond "heRO.exe has stopped..." and no buttons to click on for details.

Update: Minty and the other members of t&d found the potential source of the problem and are able to get online. They are in the process of verifying the fix. We're also trying to contact the GMs about this issue with the info and the solution to fix it.
