Installer has corrupted file

used the Installer of your website, while extracting I got corruption in file: 'heRO Full Installer-2.bin'.

resulting in failure to install.

trying redownload now.

Am hoping to start the game today.

Thanks for the report and sorry for the inconvenience. This is the first time I hear of an issue like this, so we'll be looking into it. Meanwhile, can you try to re-download the full installer? So you may continue to play if it works, while we investigate. And try to run it as admin this time in case it's caused by your fire wall, etc!

I just finished redownload via different link on this forum, same issue.

Very strange. I think it may have to do with your antivirus, firewall, or a VPN, etc.

Can you try turning off your antivirus while you redownload the game?

I keep getting similar issues, even without fire wall...

made 5 downloads, managed to get past unpacking the files once. got an corrupted fie on installation.

I'm giving up on this server.

Sorry that you ran into this trouble. I'll post my findings in case future potential players run into a similar issue.

Edit: Just tried downloading the installer using the 2015 full installer. The Full Installer-2.bin didn't give me any trouble. I did not use any VPN. I have Avira and windows defender on and the download went through without issue.

Do you have enough storage to extract the data ? usually drive system C and the drive data source and designated drive should have ample amount of empty space(maybe twice the amount of the total data extracted) this happen because the computer needs space to also rebuild the data after it's extracted. Try using different extractor program too. Or grant admin permission on the file. I have several issues installing the client in the past, dont give up. I am glad I didn't given up now that I remember how I was back then

Hi all,

I dusted off my old laptop and all is working fine. I have no clue why i keep getting the issue. Somehow the download / installation wont work on my newer laptop.

Also other RO server game downloads gave me the same issue. So its safe to say my laptop is ×%\+€! me over.

Glad it worked out, maybe it because of compatibility setting ? maybe try to use different compatibility setting in your newer device if you want to try it next time but anyway cheers
