What: Allegiance Novice challenges (Flower Maze, Minesweeper)
When:May 7, 2022 at 8:00PM EDT (Server Time)

Description:
Annoyed that you got no chance to get better gears because you are new to the server and can't race veterans on MvP kills even though you think you are the more skilled players?

Join us in a Novice only event, where neither level, stats or equipment matter! Create a brand new level 1 novice and meet at the spawn point (do not enter the Training Ground, join Hero's Journey, or be born) and compete in some novice games. Only your knife and cotton shirt will be allowed. GM will be at the novice spawn point to invite you to the event.

Event Rules:

• Create a brand new level 1 novice and meet me at the spawn point (do not enter the Training Ground, join Hero's Journey, or be born)
• Only your knife and cotton shirt will be allowed
• You will be given job level 10
• At least 1 Allegiance Point is required to join this event. Join a party belonging to your Allegiance
• You must collect all of your rewards on the participating novice

Participation Prizes:
1 ToH Voucher

Note: Participation prizes will be given out at the end of the event.

Flower Maze Rules:

• There will be a short trial round at the beginning of the event for players to familiarize themselves with how the event works. Any progress made in the trial round will not count.
• Navigate through the maze of flowers and other obstacles trying to survive long enough to get to the next checkpoint. There will be 5 checkpoints in total with increasing length and difficulty.
• Series of immovable monsters block the way. Be precise in your movement, and see through all the traps to reach the other end.
• This event is collaborative within your allegiance which means that whenever a anyone within your allegiance reaches each checkpoint, the rest of the members of that allegiance will be revived and warped to that checkpoint and will be able to continue making their way forward.
• Each Allegiance will be rewarded based on the amount of checkpoints that Allegiance reaches.
• Excessive stalling will result in GMs spawning monsters to force novices to move on quickly or face death.

Underdog bonus:
If allegiance with a lower team member count wipes out, GM will revive a number of novices equal to the differences in the number of players between the 2 allegiances. These novices will restart at their allegiance's latest checkpoints. GMs will revive the novice who got the furthest, then the novice who died the earliest, and repeat until the GM has revived the intended number of novices.

Note: No monsters have any targeted skills in the maze, but some of them will have ground based, telegraphed abilities.

Rewards are based on how many checkpoints your allegiance reaches.

Checkpoint 3:
1 Old Red box

1 Old Card Album

Checkpoint 5:
Costume Flowerpot Mask.

Any player who achieve a no death perfect score reaching the end without a single death will also win a personal Costume Crown of Victory.


Mine Sweeper rules

• In a small enclosed space where pvp is NOT enabled, the two allegiances will have to try to kill each other through the use of Marine Spheres, which are randomly spawned throughout the map.
• At the end of any wave of marine spheres, if the allegiance with a lower team member count loses any members, a number of their novices will be randomly selected to be resurrected to continue the game. This number is equal to the differences in the number of players between the 2 allegiances. This is an attempt to balance the teams.
• The allegiance that have any novices surviving at the end, will be the winner of a round. We'll play this to best out of 3 rounds to see which allegiance wins this event.
• In cases where everyone dies so neither allegiances have a surviving member at the end of a wave, everyone will be revived and the round restarts.
