I have a particular problem. I just achieved lvl 96 sin nontrans, and I enjoy going to bios3 with big parties. The thing is, I am completely useless down there. Every time I try to help, I get told to hide and sit on the stairs. I feel bad, because leeching isn't something that I particularly enjoy doing. Making other people work because I'm not good enough just doesn't do it for me. Any suggestions on how to be more effective in bio3?

you can try to go vit agi and be the bait i guess. tho you cant do anything else other than baiting them down unless you have wings or something or maybe envenom them when the monsters are in root?
being the bait is fun
the other thing is go full dex and cos you can cloak you are fairly safe down there, you can be the designated res-er. dex should make you res real fast, like *pop -> Res -> pouf* and repeat.
in bio3 you kinda don't want to get hit so being a complete melee class means you fairly much cant do anything. same applies to any knight or sader, tho they have spear throw/shield boomerang and provoke so they can do the stupendously low damage and help reduce opponent's def. but thats pretty much all they can do too.
sin isn't really a class that could do any support roles.
When someone calls you a lunatic and the first thing that came to mind is a cute, fluffy, white bunny, you know you've played too much RO.
Unfortunately, that's just life with bios. Lots of things are useless down there. Even as sin X, you'll be mostly(note this keyword) useless unless you go SD build. Be grateful you have friends that will help you, that's about the only way some class / build combos will ever see bios.
So far, Namin? can imagine them doing some luring work with cloak/reappear/cloak again and abuse it... however, even that will fail by next svn, but at least for now it works. If an enemy is rooted by a monk/champion, then even melee attacks can be launched safely, so that will also be a great time to contribute. If possible, throwing knives may work no matter how minor the damage... every hit is a 10% boost hm? ^_^;
As for some scene changing role, doubt the assassin line can really do too much...
