TOH - Trivia Trial

Well im here to sugest a new method of do the Trivia Trial, because the old one is a little unfair and i will say why:

1-Its not everyone that can translate english so fast, and this is a great disadvantage in this trial.

2-This trial dont recognize the knowledge, but the most quickly typing

3-Its a slow trial and some question usually give problems .

Well the new method that im going to suggest is easy and go increase the value of this trial

1- The players have 10 second to answer, sending a pm to the gm

2- The gm will do only 5 questions, and each one have the value of 5 points.

3- The questions will be about, history of ragnarok and the server, monsters, what a item do and about the skills.

4- All those that answer right receive the points, but only the right answer with the right spelling.

5- All questions will be hard, only those that read much about ragnarok will answer correctly

With this the trial will be more fair, because its not everyone in the server that speak and translate so quickly english, and with everyone that study or be prepared for do a good trivia, will be happy to see they efforts being rewarded .

Well its only a suggestion, but i hope the gm-team accept it .

I agree 100%. This was my problem in trivia part of TOH much because when read slowly I had no time. Only answer even one question for to get points and end up with only 12+10 for the dark light battle. I knew most of the question answer but could not read quick enough to answer in the time the pro have.

I guess to say we also need timer limit so people have not abusing their online resources.

The problem is, its hard to manage so many pms and keep track of who pmed you before the time limite, since even after the 10 sec we keep receiving pms... 30 people participatin in the toh would be deadly.

That could actually be managed pretty easily... Have the command that disallows PMs ready to go and hit it at the 10-second mark. Only people who responded before the 10 seconds would have their PMs in before they were disabled, meaning no "late entries" would make it through.

Turn your PMs back on just before the next question and repeat. ^_^
