double exp can sometimes lead to bad things...our past server had lots of issues with even just a couple double xp days and the server had to be reset.

however, if you must have extra xp times, i think the boxes idea is the best bet.

i however would much prefer a hat that drops candy or something completely random :D

Spiderweb wing already drops candy (well, lucky candy) ^_^; that would be a custom headgear idea, which is not bad at all. Namin? does not mind more hats

If they cannot be traded or stored. If pandora adds them, Please don't have them weigh anything, I know I wouldn't use it untill I'm Trans, and if I'm forced to use the box before I really need the exp boost, I'm not going to be very happy

Although.. Increased exp sounds nice, but isn't that more like a 'Big Reward?'

A week of double exp is out of the question, but a box that lasts half an hour seems reasonable.

The problem IS the same as OCAs, exactly the same, distribution.
First, find out if there really is a box like that, I have zero knowlage of a box like that,
Second, find a way to distribute things like that, and you can always vend it people,
Third, again, OCAs = chance
Boxes = pure gain.

The box is to be made untradeable (therefore cannot be vended), and cannot be stored according to Mr. Krimlin's suggestion (which seems like nobody is objecting to). If that is true, then even if more copies are made by people making novices, it does no good unless that character is actually played. OCA on the other hand can be 'duplicated' and transported to nourish the main character.

That solves the first and second problem.

As for the last one: all suggestions are some form of reward for the players. OCA is a luck-based reward, because receiving a card is still a reward (but it is a reward of varying level depending on what the card is.) Events are all rewards, as GMs invest the time for players to enjoy the event. Custom headgear, regardless if it has any actual use, is also a reward to the players. The title of Ms. Pandora's thread suggested this motion of reward.

EDIT: Thanking the GMs is as bizarre as writing a letter of thanks to the prime minister. People live to complain, demand and criticize their leaders, not the other way around ^_^
