RE: Parse error with the patcher.
This means the patcher has overused the bandwidth from the host site. Open Gravity/RO folder and run the plain heRO.exe file to directly connect, bypassing the patcher.

RE: Parse error with the patcher.
Did you update video card drivers, or change video options in any way since install?

if the heRO.exe window just loads then disappears after a split second you need to open up your setup and change the sound option to no sound.

RE: Parse error with the patcher.
I had the same problem you just stated Loki, the client loaded and closed, as it turns out it was a result from updating my video card drivers. I rolled back the drivers, and it worked fine again. I never did try the sound thing (not sure how it effects it, but u know best i guess -_-) Either way, don't leave out any possibilities.

did you remember to change the video selection in the setup? Those really are the two main things that come into effect in this case, but from past history I've seen that just changing the sound to "no sound" works too Icon_razz

RE: Parse error with the patcher.
Many different things with the video I changed. From the game setup, to my own setup. Nothing worked. My guess was that if i were to re-update my video card drivers, then reinstall my client, it would work fine. I'm figuring that it just wasn't used to the new software, since it was installed with OLD software (and I mean like 6 months ago I last updated software).
