It's just a photoshop graphic, not a sprite! Although, that could be easily done.

L is from an anim? called Death Note, he's the guy with the black hair in the first of my three recent signatures.

If Oka's explanation didn't help you understand, think a screenshot of the gryphon. Now think of making the entire background transparent and then making the picture smaller and placing it on a different background.

In saying that though, I'd rather be able to draw then sprite/edit xD.
It's a great talent that not many seem to have, including myself >_O.

I recently tried to color a dragon for a friend using photoshop, and I'm pretty happy with the results even if the mistakes are easily spotted =__=;;

haha it's good! Sprite editing is somewhat hard though I think it's a great talent to be able to do it! I hope to see some more of your art, perhaps you should make a shop like me, maybe we can trade? :D

Sounds good, but I gotta practice and improve on my older signature/avatar style first! Can't sell the same style all the time, gets rather boring DX.
Sprite editing isn't actually that hard, it's just occasionally infurating making things from scratch, pixel by pixel >_O.
I encourage anyone with a graphic editing program, even just paint to try it sometime!

Ohhh, so you didn't make the sprite of the gryphon smaller in game? You just shrunk it in the graphic? That's pretty nifty

I bought the first volume of deathnote. I'll be watching it... eventually... lol, so I might find a clue about what you're talking about. ^_^

Man you guys are good... I'm not bad at drawing, but I really suck with photoshop... I'd need to learn... How did you guys learn how to do nice stuff like this? (I know some people actually took classes, but is there an easier way to do it?)
