Character Names

I was wondering if anyone knows what letter characters are allowed in character names.

I was wanting to name my Wiz J?rmungandr, but the ? character isn't allowed. Yet, we have characters like ?KiSH?. Doesn't make much sense that ? - a symbol - is considered to be more of a letter than ? - which actually is a letter; but w/e. I doubt it can be changed.

Anyway, anyone have any sort of list or a link to one? =D

How can we be a universal server if if a person can't name her char I?es or Namin?, or a guy Fran?ois or R?adh?n; or is that just something in the RO code? =/

it can be changed and all but the server needs to have a few minor changes made to the character server to allow it to use extra characters.??It's one of those minor changes that seem tiny but take a while to fix.

Eh... at least that's how it was when I tried to add underscores, exclamation marks and question marks to my allow list way back when I was running a server.

Unless... there is another way to type ? within the login screen. Namin? only knows the alt+0233 method, which works in the chat boxes but not for the login screen... Mr. Astro knows a way?

I still think it's asinine that we can't use actual letters with lingual accents yet we can use arithmetic symbols in our names.??
