Hydra pool at amatsu?

Believe the hydra pool at amatsu field (in front of North Shrine) is suppose to be real hydras at these following spawn time:

+ 6x / 30 sec~1 min
+ 6x / 30 sec~1 min
+ 2x / 40 sec~1 min

They have full hydra drop as well.

heRO hydras however drop nothing and give no exp as if it is a quest monster... possible to look into this?


(and also out of curiosity... Ms Mystra's GM character is on top 10 alchemist list? o_o; )

GMs intended those hydra not having normal drops because it was too easy to have hydra cards.

Now that the population tripled from within 6 months and that there is some competition at hot hunting spot, I suggest to get Amatsu's hydra having normal drop.

Oh was just wondering if there was a bug on those hydras... because no other sources mentioned how they have no drops. @mi Hydra did not show a 2nd version without drops either, so Namin? was just wondering.

Does not matter if these Hydras will have drops or not in the end. Namin? was only seeking an explanation/reporting a bug.

From what I recall, it was not a GM change, but an eAthena change. I could be wrong however it was a long time ago. But the hydra with no card is in the regular mob dabatase, not in our custom mob database, which leads me to think it was not a heRO customization.

The no-drop hydra shows up on RMS if you input it's id:

*cough* doesn't that mean it's only a minion? I know some mvps summons hydras (I think).

Pandora is right, I remember seeing this change in the eathena log something like a year ago.
