RolePlay Server?

;)hi~

Let me tell you the truth, this server is like any other 300+ private RO servers out there.Nothing but leveling and become the #1 character or guild in the game. It's either a high powered server or a close replica of KRO (with some custom items...woo:neutral. I've been in 15+ servers but after 3-4 weeks I would easly get bored of it. The worst part of these leveling types of servers bring in the idiots or newbies.... Like the 12 year olds novices going around saying (PLZ HEALZ...PLZ GIV ME ZENY....TANK ME...) omgosh...The worst ones are the ones that think they are (l33t)... Seriously,leveling isnt that hard at all (my baby brother can do it) I just think RPing would really bring out the skills in players and truely challenge their in-game knowledge about RO. Also it's alot more fun~

Hehe I know this seems more like a rant then a suggestion... but it would really be awesome if we could make a RPing server ( lol i know that sounds a bit crazy...) or RPing days on the server

There are WoE, there are guilds, why not add some story behinds it
But its not something we will "enforce". We allready gave you a setup *chronicles of the heroes*, I admit it would be real great if you could build up around that. BTW, if you are any good at writing and you have some stories that plays more or less closely to the chronicle of heroes theme, we will be glad to add them to the post. RPing is not something we can enforce, but its something for player to come up with.

From the About page of the website:

"Role playing is very welcome (but not mandatory)."

We wont turn this server into a strick "you must be in character" kinda place, but RPing is most welcome. ^_^

RPing sometimes does get strict...It's just I would like to see more people RPing...thats why I joined this server..hoping to see rpers for a change ^_^

I can only speak for myself, but I'm pretty sure the other GMs feel that way too, we want to avoid being too strict, RP will never be a rule that everyone must obey, it's just something fun that you can do, if you want to.

But maybe we could have a special spot for RPers, a building in Prontera maybe, like the tavern. You can RP everywhere, but this would be a specific spot to meet other RPers. How does that sound?

Also I think the best way to encourage RPing on the server, is to RP yourself I'm sure a lot of ppl with join the fun.
